Role

Controlling overall financial activities (financial, risk management, costing & budgeting and operations). Ensure effective implementation of strategies for financial operations management, commercial (Export/ Import) transactions, regulatory compliances, cost & management accounting, etc. Identifying areas for cost controlling and implementing initiatives, tracking developments & monitoring control systems, etc.

Desired Profile

  • Experience in Financial planning & execution, Profitability, Process Improvement, Corporate Finance, Budgeting, MIS etc. in RMG industry. Significant experience of implementing global accounting standards and knowledge of cost & management accounting, regulatory compliance, and reporting.
  • Proficient in using ERP Platform (Logic soft RMG), Tally, MS Office and other related accounting software.

KEY DELIVERABLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting
    1. Participate in development and implement financial strategies. Cost, management & financial accounting plans, budgets and policies in consensus with the Company’s goals.
    2. Partner/ work closely with the CFO in planning and execution of expansion plans, setting up of new businesses and increasing net worth of existing businesses.
    3. Ensure Funds management in most effective and profitable manner and mitigating risks associated with financial management & operations.
    4. Ensure compliance against accounting standards, govt. taxation policies, Company law and internal Company Policies.
  • Financial Operations Management
    1. Oversee generation of accounts receivables and payables reports, reconcile accounts and communicate to internal customers by improving transaction processing, recording and reporting of all such activities accurately in the system.
    2. Oversee inter-company and related parties accounts management with the team.
    3. Implement operational best practices and identify areas of Revenue and Cost Optimization.
    4. Manage debtors and creditors, salaries and benefits, cost of capital accumulation, advance, margins, deposits, prepayments & investments.
    5. Manage liabilities & overheads -Production, Logistics, Corporate governance, Bank/ other loans.
    6. Keep record of all properties, plants & equipment owned by Fakir Apparels.
    7. Construct & implement a cost-effective benefits package for employees & all associates.
  • Financial & Other Reporting
    1. Ensure that there is no blockage of funds- like in useless/extra or slow-moving material, obsolete material, unpaid dues etc. by producing ageing analysis reports on weekly/monthly basis.
    2. Work with CFO for Financial report preparation and presentation to the Managements – Balance sheet, Cash Flow Statement and Profit & Loss statement on monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ annual basis.
    3. Use financial ratios for horizontal & vertical analysis & share interpretations with Management.
    4. Prepare projected vs actual payments, receipts, sources and disbursements reports.
  • Cost & Management Accounting
    1. Work with costs and management accounting team and ensure efficiency by analyzing production and utilization of budget and budget plan, analysis of variance and efficiency, cost-volume- profit analysis and capital budgeting.
    2. Prepare capital & revenue budget, functional budget, material budget, manpower budget, etc. for each department/ cost center wise for tracking resources & their monetary value.
    3. Analysis of Buyer wise profitability reports, cost category, department and division wise expense report, resource utilization reports for input & output analysis, etc.
    4. Monitor and advise costs and management accounting team of other sister concerns of the group to ensure efficiency by analyzing production and utilization of budget and budget plan, analysis of variance and efficiency, cost-volume- profit analysis and capital budgeting.
  • Regulatory and Statutory Compliance
    1. Compliance for regulatory financial statements related to Taxation laws – TDS, VAT return & assessments & Bond customs audit, report & returns for all sister concern of the group
    2. Monthly & quarterly payment of payroll income tax return and TDS reports & returns on a monthly/ quarterly basis.
    3. Ensure timely filing of returns to RJSC and statutory reports & payments to BOA, Bangladesh bank & other commercial Banks and financial institutions.
    4. Manage renewal of all fiscal licenses required for business – timely reports & return filing for hassle free process.
    5. Ensure timely submission of Income tax return and follow up the assessment of all shareholders directors of the group.
  • Commercials (Import/ Export Funds) Management
    1. Guide Commercial team in LC Management, including negotiation of terms, documentation, compliances etc. for Export Sales contract, Retirement & Payment.
    2. Prepare interim & closing reports to monitor export progress covering shipment proceeds, realization, pre-shipment & post shipment financing activities.
    3. Establish and maintain relationships with Banks for smooth execution of Bill discounting arrangements and raising regular credit limits.
    4. Guide team on customs issues, import/export transactions and support team in dealings with foreign buyers.
    5. Prepare & present analysis from Cash flow variance report, borrowed capital and credit performance reports with root cause analysis to manage corporate finance.
  • Coaching and Mentoring
    1. Develop an effective team by providing leadership, motivation and support to the team.
    2. Recruit, select, develop and retain appropriate team members.
    3. Cultivate a cohesive, creative, and comfortable working environment, mediating any interpersonal issues within the team.
    4. Ensure that all members understand the team’s objectives and work together to achieve it. Constant monitoring to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters/ MBA in Finance & Accounting
  • Professional Certification: FCA/FCMA/FCCA

Experience Requirements

  • 16-19 years of experience, with at least 15 years of experience in financial planning in related industry
